Gutted

So it has taken me much time to come to terms with the info I am about to share with you. I am such a believer in where there is a will there is away but I am not certain if this is the case in this sitch. you see I can be superstitious in my own weird vingnation way. One of my idiosyncrasies is I do not sign up for a race until I have begun training. It all started when I signed up for the Ottawa mara before actually getting out there and doing the distance, if you know what I mean. In that specific case I was injured worse then I even realized thus I decided NOT to ever sign up for a race until the training had begun. Anyway I was to start training for Boston 2010 in one short week or so SO I had not yet signed up. It was brought to my attention a mere month ago that it actually sold out. I was crushed however a little numb to the true and decent fact that I had actually missed the boat on the race that I worked so damn hard to qualify for last winter. I have been calling the BOSTON ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION like mad and putting it out there--I have heard not a peep back as of yet. I am trying to stay positive about it all, perhaps I can defer?? but in all instances of such I have started plotting other goals and other intentions in the meantime. We shall see. If any of my readers have any insight on how I can get a hold of someone at the BAA I would be delighted for the info. Otherwise, keep your fingies crossed and stay tuned.
